Happy Thanksgiving
From Preschool

One of the fun things we did last week: I read a story called "The Night Before Thanksgiving". It's about a group of children who go to a turkey farm on a field trip. While they are there, they spot Farmer Mack Nugget's AX sitting by the barn. The children make great friends with the turkeys and decide to help their new friends escape. They stuff the turkeys under their shirts & take them home as Thanksgiving guests, not dinner!! The assignment was to disguise a turkey so that if Farmer Mack Nugget comes to our school, he wont find any turkeys there! Here are the turkeys!! So funny!! Love Em'!!

We also thought of things we were thankful for and wrote them on feathers to dress our turkey int the hall. We know that all blessings come from God and we are sure to remember to stop and say thank you! Our prayer for the month is: "Thank you God for taking good care of us. Thank you for food, family & friends." How simple and how true. May we all stop not just at Thanksgiving, but all year through, to say thank you for ALL the blessings in our lives!!

We also made these super cute block turkeys. This is one that I borrowed to bring home, take a picture and show you. I think they make adorable shelf sitters!!

So, Happy Thanksgiving from our house (and preschool room) to yours!
